Gathering dust in a deserted attic is an ancient black and white television set. Beyond the cobwebs and old bits of furniture, the TV serves as a refuge, home and working TV studio for strange little creatures, known as mimics, who perform ‘live’ to anybody who switches on the set.

When 12-year-old Sophie moves into the house she stumbles across the attic’s secret inhabitants. But all is not well. She is shocked to discover a dark force is lurking at the edge of all mirrors that will do anything in its power to destroy her likeable new friends.
