Flywood Natural Discs come from the earth, a territory abundant to the native maple species throughout northern North America. Generated from the sun, crafted by hand, Flywood discs offer uniqueness in every disc produced.

Flywood Disc Innovations and I, Brad, have introduced a new twist of nature, for your pleasure. The idea was generated from a seed, and shared with a few new friends in coastal Florida. From that day forward, education, drive, and will created what we produce today. From the very start of exploration with Flywood, strength has overruled every aspect of making a competitive disc out of this wonderful natural product of wood.

Flywood Ingredients: Wood. Eco-Glue. Tung Oil. Hemp Oil. Beeswax

Flywood has developed from a single block of wood. After numerous testing and shape exploration, all dynamics lead to Flywood discs taking shape in layers. Throughout numerous species exploration, Flywood found its match back in March of 2011. A local species cut and harvested in our backyard. Throughout each step taken and obstacles overcome, we now have perfected each layer that builds a Flywood disc from top to bottom, producing symmetry, balance and precision cuts throughout this unique one of a kind sporting disc. From top to bottom our discs are adhered with a safe, nontoxic white Eco-glue Wood Adhesive. Each layer is visually inspected and placed to craft each disc free of void, providing strength and balance in every disc crafted.

A few points of CARE.

In order to maintain the lifetime of your Flywood, purchasing a small 5-7 ounce bottle of your preferred finishing oil at your local hardware store. Flywood Natural Discs are produced to allow each user to feel the wood. This is only possible with the use of natural finishes(oils).

If your disc goes through extreme conditions, this is encouraged.

AVOID ROCKS! GET A GRIP, CHECK OUT BOOBEE WAX. We strongly encourage the use, and over use. All natural beeswax offers a number of asthetic benefits, as well as protection of weathering and damage to your flywood disc.

This is a simple twist of Nature objected for the enjoyment of the game/freedom we have to walk/run along the quiet/busy places this Life takes us.
