Cat Machine ,was an influential band in the underground music scene of Ft. Myers ,Florida. They only lasted one year ,but recorded over 50 cassettes, chock full of college rock hits. Starting as a trio ,eventually a quartet ,always with special guest stars on almost every tape! They spawned literally hundreds of bands ,in their wake. There are liner notes by Ed J.,an original founding member of "The Machine" ,and blogmaster to sluggisha.blogspot.com , as well as pics of several flyers ,from all two of their live shows ,the first of which was at a juvenile detention facility ,and the second gig at the grand opening of a gay bar. This tribute has been in the works for over 2 years ,with over 20 bands contributing their versions of Cat Machine songs.Patrick from lavachurchrecords.com produced the actual ,physical copies of this cassette ,in a limited edition of 50. The first side is represented by the more "musical" bands ,while side 2 is longer songs ,noisier bands!Custom made j-cards ,and recorded over "books on tape" cassettes! Vive Le Cat Machine!!
