Scared of Outside – From whispery mind-scramble to speakermelting blow-out, Kid Romance's WFT-approach to song-sculpting and recording have coursed known music connoisseurs to proclaim "brain-damaged arm pit farts" about their confrontational artform. "Our intentions do not always translate into physical form like sounds or images the way that we want them to. They also tend to need translation from one mind to another because minds change meaning. The work "punk" to me may not mean "punk" to you", says Lucy Watson, Kid Romance front-woman.
