The 20th Century saw a great deal of freight trains move around the UK, hauled by Steam motive power. Today steam powered freight services have long gone but many UK Preserved Railways still run heritage freight services as side attractions at some of their events.
Our DVD takes you through 101 minutes of pure steam freight action from the small industrial tanks hauling short coal trains out of collieries to the huge 2-10-0's hauling the heavy, long freight services. Many railways are included from the industrial tanks working hard out of Foxfield Colliery on the 1 in 19 gradient to the UK's only mainline heritage railway, the Great Central Railway.
This 101 minute long DVD includes a wide range of steam engines hauling Freight trains through some of the most scenic railways in the UK, working flat out up steep inclines and working Photo Charters at several preserved railways.
