This delightful olde worlde pub has been a welcome resting place for over 500 years. This 15th Centuary inn is one of the oldest buildings in Derbyshire with the main bar being the oldest part. Inside you are welcomed by tudor panelling bearing carvings of 1642 and 1742, although there is evidence to suggest it dates as far back as 1180. Suits of armour, gargoyles and skeletons are found within the many rooms and corridors.

Visitors to the Inn have described mirrors falling off of walls, things being thrown at them and feeling ghostly hands touching their hair. The ghostly image of a young girl thought be called 'Jenny' has been witnessed sitting on a small box inside the pub. Jenny is thought to be a child who died during the great plague in the 1600's and is said to steal things such as knives and forks, only for them to reappear somewhere else. A cavalier has been seen parading in the car park and various smells and light anomolies have been reported.

We can't promise you'll get any paranormal activity, but we can promise that this amazing location, steeped in history is worth the visit.

We will begin the night at 8pm with a beautiful home cooked three course meal and our investigative experience will commence when the regulars leave for the night. (Please see our agenda for details of what to expect)

You will have full use during the event of our paranormal investigative equipment and we will provide refrshments throughout. We will conclude the experience between 4:30am & 5am where we can enjoy a continental breakfast and discuss the nights events!

Tickets are priced at £49 pp.

Travel & accomodation is NOT included. Although we can book one of the three double bedrooms for your use after our event has finished for an extra £70 per room this includes breakfast (please contact us directly if you wish to do this - this is on a first come first served basis) The 3 course meal will be a set menu decided by the lovely Landlord & Landlady closer to the date - please advise us on booking if you have any dietry requirements we need to take into consideration.
