Space + Guests Summary

Viva La Sociale are delighted to announce that Space will be performing at The Kings Hall, Herne Bay Thursday 28th February.

Space reformed in December to play a special one off Christmas show. Performing to the sell out hometown crowd at the 02 Academy Liverpool, they could have easily sold out 3 consecutive dates... So here they are back with a massive UK WIDE TOUR which stops at Herne Bay, Kent!

The line-up feature soriginal band members Tommy Scott (vocals/guitar), Jamie Murphy (vocals/guitar) and Franny Griffiths (keyboards). Along with Phil Hartley (bass), Ryan Clarke (vintage keys) and drummer Allan Jones who will replace Andy Parle who sadly died in 2009.

"It felt fantastic to play Liverpool again as Space. I started toplay the Space songs again last summer and started to get nostalgic about the band. I think a lot of it is down to timing, it just feels right at the moment to give it a go again and we're all looking forward to what 2012 will bring" says Tommy Scott.

"I'm made up Space are back together because I was heading for a lengthy prison sentence the way I was going on! So once again Space have saved the day" adds Jamie Murphy.

With a roster of hits such as the pop modern love song "You and Me V's The World", comedic social commentary "Neighbourhood" and of course the classic "Female Of The Species" we have a feeling its going to be great night!
