How to Setup and Edit Pages

You can add/edit non-product pages on your webstore which you can update yourself with text or images. Business Users can create an unlimited number of new pages. You can edit these pages by select Edit Pages from the Main Menu of the Control Panel. When you first log in, you will already have a few editable pages setup for you – About Us, Privacy Policy and Terms.

Adding a New Page

• To add a new page, log into your Free Webstore Control Panel and select Edit Pages from the Main Menu.
• Click on the Add button to add an additional page.
• Type in a Page Name.
• Add content using the text editor.
• Click Save.

Editing a Page

• To edit an existing page, log into your Free Webstore Control Panel and select Edit Pages from the Main Menu.
• Find the page you would like to edit and click Edit Page.
• Change the name of the page in a Page Name box or modify the content using the text editor.
• Click Save.

Inserting an Image

• The image must first be uploaded to your Product Gallery or hosted somewhere on the internet so it can be viewed in a web browser.
• To insert an image into a page, log into your Free Webstore Control Panel and select Edit Pages from the Main Menu.
• Find the page on which you would like to insert an image and click Edit Page.
• Click the Insert/Edit Image icon in the text editor’s toolbar.
• Either:
  • Enter the URL of the image (e.g. http://www.mywebsite.com/imagename.jpg), or;
  • Click the Upload tab to upload an image first.
• Click Ok.
• Once you have finished editing the page, click Save.

Using HTML

The text editor within the Edit Pages section of the Control Panel is compatible with the web programming language, HTML. If you choose to use HTML, use the following steps to insert it into your page.

• To edit an existing page, log into your Free Webstore Control Panel and select Edit Pages from the Main Menu.
• Find the page you would like to edit and click Edit Page.
• Click the Source button at the top-left of the text editor.
• Add HTML using the text editor.
• Click Save.

Removing a Page

• To remove an existing page, log into your Free Webstore Control Panel and select Edit Pages from the Main Menu.
• Find the page you would like to remove and click Delete.
