Some of my products are showing an error. What can I do about this?
Unfortunately, Google supplies very little specific information on why a product has errored. Below are a few possible causes that we can suggest, however it is by no means a definite list:
- It appears that sometimes products with too much keyword repetition in the name or description can cause a product to error (possibly because Google sees it as an attempt to "spam").
- Avoid using too many exclamation marks or uppercase letters.
- Sometimes specific words can cause an error. A few such words we have encountered that have previously caused errors are "replica" and "signature".
Unfortunately, if you do receive errors there is very little we can do to determine what may have caused it. We would simply suggest that you contact Google directly and see if they can provide any answers.
