How to Define Postage Rules

You can define general postage rules based on the basket total price, total weight OR the number of items in the basket. Choose only one of the three options and base all of your postage rules on them.

Product-specific postage costs can be set while Editing Products, however, please note that this will override ANY other postage rule.

General Postage Setup

  • Select Postage Setup from the Main Menu on the left.
  • Set a Default Postage Per Product.
    • This will NOT be used if the product has a specific postage cost set from within the Edit Product page.
    • This will NOT be used if the product is governed by a postage rule (see below).
    • This is the postage cost PER product. i.e. if someone orders 10 products, the total postage will be 10 times to Default Postage Per Product.
  • If you would like to set a Min Postage Per Order or a Max Postage Per Order to limit the total postage cost, set them here.
    • This WILL OVERRIDE all other postage rules (see below), except...
    • This will NOT be used if the product has a specific postage cost set from within the Edit Product page.
