How to Use the Product Gallery
The Product Gallery allows you to upload images for use at a later stage as product images or to be inserted into editable pages using the Edit Pages section.
Uploading an Image
- Log into your Free Webstore Control Panel and select Product Gallery from the Main Menu.
- Click a Browse button and navigate to the file you would like to upload.
- Select the file by double-clicking or single-clicking and pressing Open.
- Repeat using a different Browse button to prepare more than one image for upload.
- If you require more fields for uploading several images, click the Add button the required number of times.
- Once you have browsed to all of the images you want to upload, click the Upload button to begin the process.
- After a short while, your images will then appear in your Product Gallery.
Finding an Image URL
- Log into your Free Webstore Control Panel and select Product Gallery from the Main Menu.
- Find the image for which you require a URL.
- Right-click on the image and select Properties.
- You will see the URL listed by Address (URL) in Internet Explorer or Location in Firefox.
- You could opt to make a note of it for future reference or you could Copy and Paste it to the correct location.
- To Copy and Paste, highlight the URL by clicking and dragging from left to right across the whole of the URL.
- Once the URL is highlighted, right-click on it and select Copy (or press Ctrl + C).
- Find the intended location, right-click and select Paste (or press Ctrl + V).
Images In Use
You can see how many times each image is being used by looking at the Used: section under the image name. To see details of which products are using each image, roll your mouse pointer over the Information icon.
How to Delete an Image
To remove an image from your Product Gallery, simply click on the Trash Can icon underneath the desired image. |
