Webstore Stats
The Webstore Stats section gives you access to a wide range of statistics about your webstore and its visitors. To access the various sections:
- Log into your Free Webstore Control Panel and select Coupons and Vouchers from the Main Menu.
- The first page is the Product Statistics section.
- Use the extra links on the left to navigate to the various sub-sections of Webstore Stats.
Product Statistics
The Product Statistics page displays your Most Popular Products and Popular Searches that customers and making. These can be valuable tools; if someone is searching for a product you don’t stock, maybe you should get it!
Search Engine Visits
The Search Engine Visits page shows you incoming traffic from each of the major search engines. It can take several months before your webstore will be properly indexed by search engines and may start receiving visits (and therefore statistics on this page).
Visitor Stats
The Visitor Stats page gives you access to information about your webstore visitors.
- Total Hits – This is the total number of individual page hits your webstore has received.
- Total Unique – This figure represents the total number of unique visitors to your webstore.
- Domain Referrers – Here you will see a list of other websites from which people are visiting your webstore.
- Languages – Here you will see the primary language based on geographical location of each of your Total Unique visitors.
- Browsers – This area shows you the web browsers being used to view your webstore.
Google Analytics
In order to access these features, you must sign up for a Google Analytics account at http://www.google.com/analytics.
- Once you have created an account, you will be given a Google Analytics Tracking Code.
- Copy the code into the field in your Free Webstore Google Analytics page.
- Click Save.
- You will then be able to access details statistics via your Google Analytics account.
You will also find your Webstore Sitemap URL on this page which can be submitted to Google using your Google Analytics account to help it index more pages of your webstore.
