Day Permits for Colne Water AC stillwaters are only available to members of Bradford City Angling Association.

The Day Permit must be bought BEFORE fishing. We cannot accept payment after the event.

A Day Permit allows a BCAA Member to fish Laneshaw Reservoir (2.5 miles west of Cowling, near Keighley) or Churn Clough Reservoir (nearest postcode BB7 9EJ).  When ordering this item please indicate your choice above.

Please note that due to very low water levels fishing has been suspended until further notice at Churn Clough reservior. 

All BCAA fishing on Colne Water AC stillwaters is fly-fishing only, and Catch and Release only.

When fishing, BCAA anglers must carry:
- their BCAA membership book; AND
- an electronic or paper copy of the email and attached invoice which is automatically sent to them once they have bought the Day Permit online.

They must show these items to a Colne Waters AC bailiff whenever asked.

A Day Permit, to fish still-waters run by Colne Waters Angling Club, is issued under the Rules and Requirements listed below:

On arrival at the fishery and before fishing, permit holders must:
- partially complete the catch forms provided in the open box in the shelter at the fishery
- on these forms they must state the date, their name and their car registration.
- on the top of the form they must write "Rod Share BCAA" and the number of the invoice which was attached to the e-mail confirmation they received when they placed their order for a day ticket.

On leaving the fishery, permit holders must:
- complete the catch form and
- place it into the locked post box

1. The permit is NOT TRANSFERABLE to another person or another date.
2. The permit allows the above BCAA member to fish only on Laneshaw and/or Churn Clough reservoirs (as named on the invoice attached to this email), on one date only.
3. Anglers must carry a) their BCAA yearbook, together with b) either a hard copy or an e-copy of this email, and of the attachment to this email whilst fishing.  They must produce these items to Colne Water AC Bailiffs when requested.
4. Access to the Churn Clough fishery is controlled by padlock. The Padlock code is 4747.
5. Anglers must observe all Bradford City Angling Association rules at all times.  These are stated in the BCAA yearbook.
6. Anglers must observe all Colne Water AC fishing rules at all times. These can be seen at each fishery and anglers must have read and understood them before starting to fish.
7. No wading is allowed.
8. All fish caught must be handled carefully and returned to the water alive - a 'no kill' policy is in force.
9. BCAA members must use Fly fishing methods only.
10.No litter, including fishing line, is to be left on the banks.
