One great feature about Energizers is that it meets the stringent requirements of the Lycra Leg Care program. In other words, Energizers support hosiery is compression hosiery, which helps to increase blood flow to reduce swelling and fatigue. 

The old Energizers hosiery was made by Phantom Hosiery, and the new Energizers hosiery is made by Doris Hosiery Mills. Doris improved Energizers by making them graduated, as opposed to uniform. Phantom's version had 100% compression throughout the leg, but that made it tight around the thighs and a little loose around the ankles. Graduated compression makes it a little tighter around the ankle, to push the blood up the leg, where the hosiery is a little looser.
