A Change in the Aire by Lesley Parr
Some said it straight; others laughed it off. But as I remember it, the words 'out of your tiny minds' were written over their faces when we broke the news to family and friends.
Set on turning their dreams into reality, Lesley, with her husband Geoff and three-year-old son Jackson, left behind their responsible middle-aged lifestyle with all that it encompassed and set off to discover what life in a motorhome could hold. With no experience they embarked on an extraordinary seven-month odyssey crisscrossing Europe from Portugal to Croatia. The friends old and new they met, the obstacles they overcame and their unforgettable experiences on and off the beaten track opened their eyes to a new way of living. Watching their son grow in self-confidence and personal development, Lesley had to admit that she was being transformed. By the end of the journey, she found herself in a very diffrent place from where she had started.
Praise for A Change in the Aire
This is very much tale of two journeys, the physical trip and the journey of the mind. A brillaint read, a funny, affecting and inspiring story about seizing the moment - something we all need to do. Let's face it, would you trade the life you know to experience something new, on a whim? After reading this you just might.
"...had us laughing out loud, recalling our own misadventures. Absorbing, funny, moving and packed with informative tips. Worthy of a wide audience. Didin't want tot turn the last page because we didn't want the journey to end, but it leaves you compelled to make your own journey, whatever that may be."

This is a lovely book and as we are currently travelling in our motorhome for 2 years there are many stories that resonate with us. Lesley writes in a witty and warm way with so much passion for travel and adventure. If you read this book, I guarantee you ll be looking to go out and buy your own camper or motorhome!
