Malaga Retreat

Spring Retreat in Malaga:
Free Your Mind
22nd - 27th March 2019

Join Madhyamaka KMC in this relaxing  away retreat at Kadampa Meditation Centre Spain, Malaga. We will be learning how to use meditation on the mind (known as Mahamudra meditation) to experience greater peace, clarity, and well-being. Derived from the Buddhist Mahamudra tradition, the meditations on this retreat will lead you on a voyage of exploration of your mind through which you can discover your own inner potential for lasting peace and happiness.

The retreat is open to everyone of all levels of experience and will be held in the beautiful, warm and relaxing setting of KMC Spains retreat Centre.  There will be opportunities to enjoy walks in the beautiful surrounding countryside, relax on-site, socialise with like-minded people and if you are brave enough, take a dip in the swimming pool.

Retreat Teacher, Gen Kelsang Tharpa

GEN THARPA is a close disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and a senior teacher of the New Kadampa Tradition who has been teaching Modern Buddhism in Spain, Portugal and England for over 30 years. He has great ability to convey the profound Buddhist path of wisdom and compassion with clarity and the depth that comes from his personal experience. Both beginners and more senior students enjoy Gen Tharpas profound understanding of Dharma as well as his simplicity, wise counsel and good sense of humour. He is a living example of how to practice the Kadampa way of life in the modern world.
