DAY-TICKET, CANAL

The Day-Ticket is for the Leeds to Liverpool canal from Belmont bridge (bridge no.178) in Skipton town centre, back towards Niffany swing bridge (bridge no.175). It includes the Springs branch in Skipton town centre which runs up to the back of Skipton Castle. (Marked in red on the below map). Fishing is from the towpath side only and must not infringe upon any 'private' property (this includes shipping poles back into private gardens etc.) Anglers must give way to barges at all times.
Please note that Day-tickets are non transferable and are valid only on the same day of purchase!

Please be aware and considerate to all other canal and towpath users.
Anglers must abide by all national laws and by-laws.
All fish caught are to be returned alive.
This stretch is monitored by bailiffs on a regular basis.

Please note: We regret that £0.31 will be added at the checkout to cover the cost of additional charges that the Association incur from offering this online purchasing facility through Paypal. This fee is calculated at 3.4% of the transaction cost + 20p.



FURTHER DETAILS:
You must be able to show proof of purchase on the banks to SAA bailiffs and members upon request, by either producing a printed copy of your invoice (preferred) or an electronic copy on a handheld device such as a smart phone. (A 'hard copy' of this purchase will not be sent out through the post).
Failure to do so will result in eviction without exception.
(please note that flat batteries on smart phones etc are not a valid excuse for failing to supply proof of purchase).
