About Sue
Sue has been writing since her teenage years. When she first stepped into downtown Nashville, she realized that she'd found her inspiration. Fueled by a love of country music and a history in helping friends through rough situations, she stuck to her writing until she was willing to share a story with the world. Her first novel - Without You - was an amazing success. Fans have said over and over that her writing is one of a kind. It's driven by an outside perspective on things close to her heart. The stories of strong women, strong men, Savannah Georgia, Tybee Island and Nashville Tennessee are the kinds of stories her fans, and others, love the most. Sue's found new inspiration from a trip to the beautiful city of Savannah Georgia and Tybee Island sure to inspire all her fans.
The ideas never stop flowing with her. She always finds a niche that nobody expected. She's been inspired by some of the top country artists including Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Brantley Gilbert, Rascal Flatts, Miranda Lambert and more. What does she do when she goes to Nashville? Opry House tour, The Ryman Auditorium and the Country Music Hall of Fame. Inspiration flows for her where there's music history being made. She's even been known to write one of her amazing ebooks while sitting on her favorite pew in the Ryman Auditorium.
Each series Sue writes has it's own twists and turns, pulling you into a unique perspective of her characters. Inspired by her favorite country artists as well as by some of her vacation spots, she's found new ideas and stories to share. After releasing the popular Secret Series and Fantasy Series, she continues with the Choices series inspired by her favorite city and TV show - Nashville.
With a new found love of Georgia, Sue has dedicated herself to helping raise funds to restore a 200 year old lighthouse off the coast of the Savannah River in Tybee Island Georgia. The lighthouse has graced the cover of Safe to Shore, Changing Tides and the rest of her lighthouse series. With assistance from a group of amazing people including the Savannah Historical Foundation and the Fort Pulaski restoration team. she's turned her newest series into a book that gives back. If you order yours, $5 from each paperback will go towards the restoration and with all hopes, Sue is hoping that the light will shine once again.
Most recently, Sue changed her focus onto books that empower women. Her characters were always strong, but when she writes about these women that overcome hardships, it created a whole new niche (one she was very proud to create). Starting at Shooting Stars and Fireflies, you’ll see a whole new Sue and a whole new group of must have romances for everyone.
