.... this was. I was expecting a deep fruity taste with lovely marzipan. What I got was burnt, bitter, watery liquid. Wont be buying any more

Had this steeping for 2 months, and its great, i can taste the fruit, rum, icing and marzipan, its going away now till chrimbo.

When I was young and still living at home my mum used to make the Christmas cake every year. I never saw the recipe, but I remember seeing pounds of dried fruit, peel and spices going in. As it baked it would fill the house with that special Christmas aroma. She would then put on a nice layer of marzipan before decorating the cake with royal icing. I hoped this juice would re-create all those memories. I was expecting this juice to be dark brown, like the cake mix used to be. It is, however, a lovely deep red colour a nice Christmas hue. I always think a new juice should be smelled before being vaped. The juice has a very rich smell, with the fruits present but also a hint of almond, there is going to be marzipan on this cake. OK, so on to the vape. I tried this in a Vivi Nova, with a 2.4 head, at 4.1 volts. Throat hit is pretty good, as you would expect from a 70% PG juice and there is a good amount of vapour too. On the inhale there is a definite taste of dried fruit slightly sweet but also nicely rich. The exhale brings out the cake taste along with a hint of brandy and leaves an aftertaste definitely reminiscent of Christmas. This juice definitely re-creates the taste it's trying to achieve very well.

First of all the sniff test, definitely Christmas cake, my daughter sniffed also and commented wow that's amazing, smells like the cake nanny bakes us every year Quite a lot of vapour from this and an immediate taste of a mixture of flavours, cake, spices and fruit and definitely plum all come through on the inhale with an almondy flavour on the exhale, it lingers on your tongue but in a very pleasant way

A very yummy rich tasting juice, lovely blend of fruit, alcohol, spices, marizpan and sweetness, choc full of festive cheer. Very smooth vaping, not at all drying in the mouth and a very nice aftertaste, all the yumminess of cake but without the calories
