A beautiful wooded valley with 19th-century Gibson Mill at its heart, a beauty spot of the South Pennines with more than 160 hectares (400 acres) of unspoilt woodland
As well as being the home of the Northern Hairy Wood Ant, there are tumbling streams, glorious waterfalls and stacks of millstone grit, all crisscrossed by more than 15 miles (24KM) of footpaths
WORKSHOP
Full day Workshop takes around 6-8 hours on location
- A briefing over tea/coffee (courtesy of Andy Beattie Photography)
- Exploring the location
- Andy Beattie Photography on hand to demonstrate, assist and instruct
- A break for lunch – to review progress and talk about any aspects of photography you're wanting to explore/develop (Bring a packed lunch, or eat at the cafe on site)
- Explore the location again putting your knowledge into practise
- Evaluation of your images with feedback
