You'll get a LOT more for your buck - Marcus - Thursday, January 17, 2013
At first look--at least, for me--Sentinels was a fun, exciting, and riveting graphic novel written and illustrated by two friends of mine. I was glad to support them. And the first volume did not fail to bring excitement, fun, and keep me riveted. However, the story evolved and expanded with the next book, and by the time the series was finished, it had come full circle in some of the most astounding ways possible. Rich Bernatovech is a writer of the highest caliber, without equal in his brilliance... and Luciano Vecchio is probably one of the best artists I've had the pleasure to know... let alone enjoy his work. The evolution of the story and art over the course of SENTINELS is nothing short of superb. It's true that both Rich and Luciano are friends, but even if I never had known them, my life is better off by far for having read and thoroughly enjoyed their work.
Pure Awesome! - Scott - Tuesday, November 13, 2012
I ordered Sentinels from Previews after meeting the creators at a convention. I was very intrigued by it and wanted to look into it more before purchasing it. All I can say is I wish I picked it up that day. I was an awesome book and made me want more. Luckily, the second book came out a few month later. Great book. Great series. A must buy for fans of great story-telling.
