This product enables the Heatmiser Neostat Thermostat range to integrate with SmartThings. After integration with SmartThings, the Heatmiser Neostat can then connect to Google Home and Amazon Alexa, which allow full voice control of your thermostat.
The device is built using a NodeMCU which requires a USB micro power supply (same as found on many cameras/phones/technology devices). It draws minimal current and connects to your home WiFi, hence can be positioned anywhere with a power supply (e.g. USB port on a computer or an old USB phone charger...etc)
Heatmiser Neostat is great as it can become very smart, yet also works with many underfloor heating systems, so providing great flexibility compared to many so called 'smart' thermostats on the market. Plus you don't give your data away to anybody!
NOTE: In order for this device to integrate with Heatmiser Neostat you will need to have a Neohub installed (version 1 and version 2 are both supported). You will need one of these chips per Neohub - hence for virtually everybody you only need to buy one of these devices.
