The Brig Isn't The Brig!
09 October 2020
I rally enjoyed this story. So what would the Brigadier have been if he hadn't joined the army? In this book you find out. The bloodlines whole story sweep is a little disconcerting but it is becoming much clearer with this book. As a stand alone story it is a nice peripheral story to the Web of fear. While all the trouble is going on in London life in a small Cornish village is carrying on as normal for everyone, except for Owain Vine the only son of the local store keeper, and his ex maths teacher, Archie Lethbridge-Stewart. Owain is having dreams/visions linked to the London event, and Archie is seeing a ghost, a woman in her thirties with dark hair. When an old man appears in the village who insists on calling Archie, Alistair and knows things about Owain that he shouldn't even if some of the things he claims aren't right? You have an interesting mix of a story.
