With this repair kit you will be able to repair leaking coming from the rod seal and also non responding cylinders due to a bad piston bi-directional sealing ring assembly.
Included in kit:
If the power steering unit is not responding, meaning you need more muscle to steer, then the rod should be pulled out of the unit to check and make sure the nylon piston is not cracked. I have seen on a couple of occasions where there is a crack and thus the hydraulic pressure is bypassing the piston.
