A Good Old Fashioned Doctor Who Type Story!

Colonel Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart and his Commanding Officer, Major General Oliver Hamilton, are determined to create a dedicated force to battle possible alien invasions. Even after the battles with the Yeti and Great Intelligence in the London Underground and further conflicts with more Yetis in Cornwall, incursions from parallel world, and a Rutan on Fang Rock, the Government are not willing to countenance the need for a special forces unit tackle this kind of thing. The aliens in this book are the Doctors old enemy he encountered on Dulkis, the Dominators and their l robot servants the Quarks. With the help of the Energy Minister the Dominantor's, pretending to be a foreign business men, have set up a nuclear reprocessing plant on the edge of Dartmoor. But this is just a front to cover for their ultimate plan. It starts off with Harold Chorley following up a lead to what is happening on Dartmoor. He then drags Lethbridge-Stewart into his investigation. Quickly both find themselves in danger, not only from the Dominantor's but from their own Government. Can the Colonel save the world, not only from the Aliens but also from the stupidity of Government officials? This time Lethbridge-Stewart has only his wits to rely on as he is a fugitive from his own Government! A good old fashioned Doctor Who type yarn!
