Agios Giorgios, Mystras
£37.50
These towers were the final phase of the Minster's construction in the mid 1400s and give it the finest Decorated west front of any English Cathedral. Inside the strongest impression of the building is its scale which is huge and full of light. The nave is so wide that the builders didn't dare attempt to vault it in stone and so it retains, unusually, a timber vaulted ceiling.
